YOUNGSTERS from Malvern and Ledbury had a flipping great half-term thanks to a wide range of activities laid on by Festival Housing.

Almost 100 people took part in fun events at Alfrick, including treasure hunts, making bird feeders and the ever-popular family pancake race.

The activities were part of the Festival gets 2gether club for young people, which aims to bring communities together and reduce reports of anti-social behaviour during the school holiday periods.

Clare Huyton, executive director at Festival, was delighted with the turnout. She said: “It’s great to see communities coming together and enjoying a really good day out. Our school holiday activities have gone from strength to strength and are really making a difference to the lives
