New head for tourism group

UPTON Tourism and Trade Association is under new leadership after a re-organisation of its committee.
Don Bridges had been acting as chairman in a temporary capacity following Peter Webb’s decision to stand down.
But on Monday, after he stood down, Annette Keyworth was selected to the role.
Annie Potts is taking over as secretary while David Hodson will continue as vice chairman.
The new committee is focusing its attention on the Jubilee Street Party that will take place in Lower High Street on June 4.
Tickets cost 50p and go on sale from various shops in Upton on Sunday.
