Try some tasty treats in our new tea room

VISITORS to a National Trust site in Herefordshire can now enjoy a bite to eat in a newly refurbished tea room.
The Old Apple Store tea room on the Brockhampton Estate, near Bromyard, has had new equipment installed, its outdoor seating area extended by 80 seats and a new paint job in warm colours.
Manager Lottie Watts said: “I’m really passionate about local and seasonal food.
“Herefordshire has an incredible array of producers with whom I’m keen to work with and reflect in our menu.
“Our salad produce will come from our National Trust walled gardens at Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and the Weir where it is grown by staff and volunteers.”
It is open daily until Sunday, November 4, from 10am to 5pm, offering light refreshments, including seasonal sandwiches, soup of the month, salads, quiche, cakes and scones. For more information, call 01885 482077 or go to nationaltrust.org.uk
