A LOST old lady driver ended up stuck down a narrow footpath after trusting her errant sat-nav.
The woman ended up jammed in the path linking Dog Hill Wood to Bank Cresent in Ledbury, and she had to be towed back out by a recovery vehicle.
The unfortunate event, which ended up damaging the footpath, was discussed by town councillors at a recent meeting.
To remedy the problem, they discussed a £250 bollard to stop similar things from happening in the future.
Councillor Martin Eager said: “Her sat-nav told her to go down there.
“It’s one of those daft things that we’ve all experienced, when using sat-nav.”
