Five people taken to hospital after crash

FIVE people were taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries following a two-car crash.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the Brockhampton crossroads, near Ledbury, at about 7.10pm on Tuesday.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a collision involving two cars at the village crossroads.
“Three male occupants, thought to be in their 20s and travelling in one car, were treated for minor injuries.
“Two of them were immobilised with the use of a neck collar and spinal board as a precaution before being taken to hospital.
“A female in her 30s and a young child travelling in the second car were also treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to hospital.”
Three ambulances, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, a paramedic officer and a BASICS doctor were sent to the scene.
All five patients were taken to Hereford Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
