A TRAIN travelling between Great Malvern and Weymouth has been delayed for almost half an hour after a passenger collapsed.

This afternoon's 12.50pm service was stopped near Yate, in Gloucestershire, while emergency services tended to a woman who was taken ill and then stretchered her off the train.

A spokesman for First Great Western said no other services have been affected by the incident.
