Tasty treat for TV's Boycie

ONLY Fools and Horses favourite Boycie is pictured here having a stare-off with a tasty treat produced by an up-and-coming Malvern cake maker.

Actor John Challis ran into ‘The Cake Woman’ Tracy Brookes as he opened the Mortimer Country Food Fair, near Ludlow, Shropshire.

Mrs Brookes, aged 39, of Malvern Link, has recently taken her business full-time after setting it up three years ago.

She was delighted at the lengths the star went to give her cupcakes the seal of approval.

“He wanted to try the cake but his wife grabbed it off him and smacked him one.” she said.

“She put it back on the table but he wanted to try it. He waited and came behind her and pinched one of my miniature cakes and tried that.”

The encounter was not Mrs Brookes’ only brush with celebrity at the event. She was also caught on camera by crews filming scenes for new ITV show My Tasty Travels with Lynda Bellingham.
