Roadworks are slowing traffic on the M5.

Delays on M5 Southbound between J5 A38 (Droitwich / Wychbold) and J6 A449 / A4440 Warndon Way / A4538 Pershore Lane (Worcester).

Average speed 30 mph. In the roadworks area. Travel time is ten minutes.

An average speed of 30 in a 40 zone?!! Photo does not show anyone actually working - makes you wonder why they did not close off shorter stretches of road at a time rather than one long stretch of road causing chaos.
