A BARN near Ledbury which was transformed into a temporary exhibition space has been shortlisted for an award.
The Manorial Barn, in Aylton, has been recognised by English Heritage for its makeover and has since been used as a tea room for the h.Art open studio event.
Now the owners and craftsmen who worked on the project have been invited to attend the English Heritage Angel Awards at London’s Palace Theatre next month, where the barn has been entered in the best craftsmanship employed on a heritage rescue category. The competition celebrates the efforts of people in saving heritage.
The barn at Court Farm will remain open as an exhibition space between 11am-5pm until Sunday.
