SIXTH-formers at the John Masefield High School in Ledbury have been asked to come up with designs to enhance the main dining room, and the work has already started, with some impressive results.
Wendy Bradbeer, school spokeswoman, said: “Fine art students will approach the brief by defining their own personal response to the space, rather than responding to the healthy eating theme that the photography students will be set.
“In the initial stages the fine art students will consider a wide range of possible approaches and then through thoughtful research select their own path to creating a finished piece.
“Photography students will create images that can be printed in a large scale and that will hang from the ceiling, in a similar manner those seen in supermarkets.
“They will use Macro photography and studio lighting to capture appealing images of fruit and vegetables that will hopefully promote healthy eating.”
