Ancient seals and signatures on show at Hereford Cathedral

AN exhibition featuring an early form of signature has opened at Hereford Cathedral.

Historical seals, used to make legal documents official, is on display in the cathedral’s famous Chained Library until Christmas.

Some of the seals date back around 900 years and many are still attached to the book or document they validated.

The exhibition is open 10am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday with admission prices £6 adults and £5 concessions.
