RECEPTION class youngsters at Much Marcle Primary School will be getting plenty of fresh air while they learn this autumn, thanks to a new ‘free flow’ play area.

An outdoor space with a perspex canopy connects directly to the classroom, through doors which are always open during lessons.

This means that the children can leave the classroom and continue themed topics outside, but under cover.

Reception teacher Laura Evans said her four and fiveyear- old pupils really appreciate the unusual facility.

“The children want to be out there all the time. They love it,” she said.

Ava Smith and Freddie Davis, above, both aged four, enjoy the area. 38133201.
