'100-year-old' cat enjoys a milestone birthday

'100-year-old' Tigger '100-year-old' Tigger

SHE hasn’t received a card from the Queen but this old moggie is still enjoying a birthday milestone.

Tigger, who lives with Tom and Angela William in Moreton-on- Lugg, recently turned 21 years old – the equivalent of turning 100 in human years.

With most cats living an average of 14 to 16 years, Tigger might be getting on but is still living the feline dream.

“She is slowing down but she still gets through three packets of food a day and enjoys basking in the sun when it is out,” said Angela.

“When the grandchildren come round she loves nothing more than to sit with them sharing their crisps.”

Our cat Pumpkin is 21 years old too. She puts her longevity down to not eating too many crisps.
