SPONSORS are being sought to enable Bromyard’s youth to have their own allotment plot.
The Broadbridge site is almost ready for cultivation and the Allotment Association believes young people could benefit from some hands-on gardening experience.
Cllr Janet Pearce-Higgin said: “The aim really is to try and get the young and the old working together.
“At the moment we’re driving to get sponsors for that.”
Anyone who would like to find out about sponsoring a plot of land for young people in the town can call chairman of the Allotment Working Party, Nigel Davis, on 01885 483342.
