MEMBERS of the Bromyard community were left amazed by the actions of the County Air Ambulance after an adept landing proved its value.

A helicopter landed in the car park of the Conquest Theatre, Tenbury Road, after a motorcyclist suffered a serious allergic reaction to a bee sting.

Cllr Nick Cronin, who owns nearby Microprint, said: “If you look at the car park it was quite a spectacular piece of parking, what with the overhead wires and lampposts.

“It literally landed on a six pence. They amazed everybody who was around and about.”

Bromyard resident David Reynolds, who took pictures of the landings, said: “The pilot was fantastic. I think he had retired from the RAF.

“They all did absolutely fantastically.”
