A PENSIONER’S house was burgled while she was being treated in hospital.
Maureen Jones, aged 61, of Winslow Road, Bromyard, was at Hereford County Hospital for an appointment when the burglary took place on Friday, January 21 between 4.45pm and 8pm.
Most of her jewellery was stolen along with a new digital camera, which was a Christmas present from her family.
The Gazette recently reported how Mrs Jones has been without hot running water or heating since March 2010 when her boiler was condemned.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with any information can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or the Herefordshire burglary investigation team on 0300 3333000.
