A WOMAN was caught speeding outside a school near Bromyard three times on the same day.
PC John Meek told Bromyard Town Council on Monday that 27 people were snapped through Burley Gate on one day last month.
They included a woman who earned nine penalty points after exceeding the 30mph on the A465 on three occasions.
She was also fined £180 and incurred an extra £450 in car insurance following the purge by the Safer Roads Partnership.
“She was caught going out, came back again and then decided to have another look,” PC Meek told councillors.
“She came within one more of losing her licence in a day. Try explaining that to your insurance company.”
Councillors heard that 99 per cent of people caught were local middle-aged drivers who knew the road and were “just popping out”.
