BROMYARD and Winslow Town Council has opted not to pass on a charge to users of the Public Hall for refuse collection.
Herefordshire Council will charge the town council £421.20 each year for the collection of its commercial waste and the decision was made at the meeting of the human resources, administration and finance committee on Monday, September 12, to provide the service for hirers of the hall.
The committee also deferred a decision on turning the council’s loan to Town Watch for its CCTV system into a grant to its next meeting on Monday, October 10 so more information can be gathered.
