TO help its residents find employment, Evesham-based Rooftop Housing Group has partnered with the UK’s most powerful online jobseeker’s toolkit, MyWorkSearch. The deal means Rooftop residents can now gain free access to the MyWorkSearch web portal, which offers online training, advice and support designed for those looking for a job. It provides everything needed to help people find employment opportunities faster and improve their job hunting skills.

Juliana Crowe, housing and communities director at Rooftop, said: “We are committed to helping our residents access employment opportunities and we are confident this will prove a popular and effective initiative. MyWorkSearch has a successful track record working with housing associations and on average residents who use their services are 50 per cent more likely to secure work than when using normal job seeking methods.”

MyWorkSearch brings together daily thousands of job opportunities from all major job sites and sorts them in an easy to view format. Using this service lets users know about the newest jobs first, giving that edge needed when looking for a job in today’s competitive market. Among the other features on the site are over 130 interactive eLearning modules, videos, exercises, weekly live interactive web training , a CV Builder and a tool which publishes applicants CVs online for employers and recruiters to search.

The partnership with MyWorkSearch compliments the intensive support work currently offered by Rooftop’s Employment Support Advisors. As part of the initiative Rooftop will assist residents with managing initial log on, induction and provide ongoing support.
