A WORCESTER retail jeweller has been listed among the 50 most inspiring independents in the UK jewellery sector.

In November, trade publication Retail Jeweller will publish an ‘inspiring independents’ supplement, which will profile and champion the country’s best-in-class jewellery boutiques. Among them will be Ice Fine Jewellery in Chapel Walk, which is part of the Ian Quartermaine Group and based in Chapel Walk in CrownGate shopping centre.

The business has been nominated by its suppliers and fellow independent jewellers, as one of the top 50 independent jewellers in the UK, recognised for quality, value and level of service provided to customers, colleagues and associates.

Owner Ian Quartermaine said: "Independents can be nominated and suggested as being ‘inspiring’ for various reasons. From recognising and backing new brands, to excellent customer service and innovative marketing strategies. We are delighted to be ranked alongside the likes of ROX, Drakes Fine Jewellers and Robert Gatward, all of which are highly regarded jewellers in the UK."

Marketing manager at CrownGate, Sara Matthews added: "Being nominated as one of the UK’s top 50 most inspiring independent jewellery and watch retailers, is a huge accomplishment for Ice Fine Jewellery and we are proud to have them within the Shopping Centre."

The Inspiring Independents supplement will be unveiled at a party in London on October 22, when the final 50 will be ranked in order, as voted by their peers.
