A WORCESTER recruitment and training firm will be raising vital funds for charity by taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Staff at eResponse Recruitment will be baking cakes for their clients, suppliers and candidates at their offices on Foregate Street and also laying on coffee, treats and party games for guests between 10am and 2pm on Friday, September 26. The aim is to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, which provides specialist nurses, information and financial assistance to people and their families affected by cancer.

The charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event encourages businesses, residents groups and others to get together for a brew to raise money to help the 330,000 people who are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK.

Mike Pincott, manager of eResponse’s Worcester branch, said: “Macmillan does an incredible job in helping families through the most challenging times of their lives. We will have a lot of fun with our coffee morning but the important thing to remember is that this is one of the worthiest causes of all – helping to raise essential funds for a charity that does so much. None of us could ever dream of being the next Mary Berry or Paul Hollywood but we’ll stick our aprons on and have a good go.”
