AN Evesham-based company has joined a national campaign to improve awareness and advice on underfloor heating.

Reliance Water Controls of Aston Sommerville is part of Ask for Underfloor, the independent industry campaign backed by the British Electrotechnical and Allied Manufacturers' Association, which has now received the support of 30 UK manufacturers and suppliers.

The campaign was launched in January this year after independent research found that almost half of househunters wanted their next property to have features to help them lower fuel bills and more than a third wanted their home to have underfloor heating.

BEAMA’s Colin Timmins said: “We’re delighted that Reliance Water Controls is supporting the growing campaign. By backing it, the company is not only helping us to spread key messages and important information, but it is also showing its customers and potential customers that it is passionate about its industry and wants to ensure standards across the board are as high as possible. There is still some uncertainty around underfloor heating, due, in part, to incorrect and questionable advice and information being shared. Through the Ask for Underfloor campaign, we want to dispel any misunderstandings or myths around underfloor heating and provide reliable and trustworthy advice."
