STAFF at Medical Accident Group raised £400 when they took part in Wear It Pink day to aid breast cancer research.

Teams at the Worcester based company, which is one of the UK’s leading clinical and medical negligence solicitors and is part of Harrison Clark Rickerby’s, joined the anti-cancer fight by wearing pink and donating to the charity to show support.

Inez Brown, partner at the Medical Accident Group, said: "Most of us have known someone who has been touched by this disease and were proud to support for this year’s Wear It Pink campaign.”

Now in its 13th year, Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink raises more than £2m every year for world-class breast cancer research that saves and improves lives, giving women quicker diagnosis and more effective treatments. Every year 50,000 mothers, daughters, sisters and wives will be newly diagnosed with breast cancer and 12,000 women still die, with millions continuing to live with its long term impact.

Ellie Adam, Wear It Pink project manager at Breast Cancer Campaign, said: “Each year we are overwhelmed by the huge numbers of people wearing it pink. It’s people like those from the Medical Accident Group that make this event a success."
