THERE'S a new specialist at Worcester technology company Caption Data Ltd.
Andy Burgess has joined the firm of Brindley Court, Gresley Road, as technical and quality manager.
He brings 20 years experience in quality processes and electronics engineering. Qualified as an electronics engineer, Mr Burgess has worked in major global blue chip companies as well as SME’s and has been responsible for several multi million pound projects during his career so far.
Jon Penn, managing director at Caption Data said: “Andy joins the team at a crucial time, as we prepare to launch two new products which further increase our innovative offering for new and existing customers.”
Over the last three years, Caption Data has invested heavily in technology and new products to exploit its leading position in the market. The technology allows real-world devices to communicate to and be controlled via the internet using smartphones, tablets, PCs and any other internet enabled device, via any browser. The company expects the growth in staff numbers to continue in 2015, with the next additions likely to be in a sales and marketing role.
