SET up in a household garage in 2000, a servo repair business has grown to become one of the major players in its field.

Neu- Servo Repairs now operates out of a modern unit in Bromsgrove and is celebrating its 15th birthday after a record year in 2014.

Lee Robinson, sales manager said: "The energetic results we have experienced in recent years look like they will continue in 2015. These past 15 years have brought steady and consistent growth, and we have become the country's leading servo motor repair centre. In addition to this increased production in service, we have also expanded our scope. Neu- Servo has recently attained a series of high profile 'Blue-Chip' manufacturers in the area, and following these new business partnerships we predict this will significantly bolster our current demand."

The business was founded by Phil Robinson, who was later joined by his son Lee, and is now the only independent UK accredited servo motor repair facility authorized by Siemens A & D and certified to ISO 9001:2008.

Neu-Servo recruited two new apprentices last year and also can also call on the experience of one of the area's oldest employees, Fred Hobbis, who is aged 86. "With all records broken, the future looks bright," Mr Robinson added.
