VISIT Worcestershire, the body that encourages visitors to the county, has teamed up with a local pet food company to run a competition for canine companions.

As part of its Visit Woofcestershire initiative, it has joined with Droitwich-based Fish4Dogs to give dog owners the opportunity to win a year's supply of treats for their pets, simply by sending in a picture of a pooch enjoying its summer holiday. The campaign aims to help visitors plan a range of summer vacations in Worcestershire that are dog friendly and also to use the stunning walking routes that can be found in the Malvern Hills, Clent Hills, Wyre Forest and the Vale of Evesham, which, especially during the summer months, are a magical spectacle as Worcestershire’s flora is in blossom.

To enter the competition, post a photograph of your dog enjoying its holiday on either www.facebook.com/Fish4DogsUK or www.facebook.com/visitworcestershire with #woofcestershire or Visit Woofcestershire in the title. Alternatively, submissions can be emailed to tourism@visitworcestershire.org. All entries must be submitted by Wednesday, September 30 to be in with a chance of winning.
