A WHOLESALE garment and merchandise supplier has proved to be hot stuff after winning a second top business award.

Fire Label, which is based in Wildwood Drive, Worcester, has been named best multi-channel business at this year’s ECMOD Direct Commerce awards, the annual event which brings together the UK’s premium multi-channel organisations and aims to recognise and commend the hard work and commitment of businesses in various direct commerce sectors.

After being shortlisted in the "annual sales of up to £5m B2B" category, Fire Label managed to fight off fierce competition from some of the industry’s most successful companies and was selected as the winner by a panel of expert judges.

This is the second successive year Fire Label has scored in the European Catalogue & Mail Order Days Direct Commerce awards, having won the ECMOD award for its womenswear range in 2014.

Company sales director Sam Turner said: "‘To be recognised as the best multi-channel business was an unbelievable achievement for all of us. It truly recognises all of the hard work our entire team has put in over the last 12 months. The Fire Label team couldn’t be happier at the moment. What an award to win."

Founded in 2008, Fire Label has seen tremendous growth over the years and is now one of the UK’s most prominent garment suppliers. The team of locally recruited staff provide a range of services, from screen printing and embroidery to DTG printing, full garment finishing, bespoke manufacturing and plain garment supplies. The company has an extensive customer base across the education, private and third sectors, as well as the NHS.

This year’s ECMOD ceremony took place at the Hurlingham Club in London, with Sky News anchor Dermot Murnaghan presenting trophies to 25 winning businesses.
