WORCESTER'S Bishop Fleming has recruited NatWest Bank's director of structured finance in the South West and South Wales to boost its corporate finance team.

Charles Davey has joined Bishop Fleming, a top 40 accountancy firm, as director of corporate finance after eight years with NatWest Bank where he completed many transactions, including family succession, management buyouts, acquisitions, project finance and fund-raising.

Prior to joining RBS, Mr Davey was a key figure in the corporate finance team in the South West and Wales at PKF, the national accountancy firm that has now become part of the global BDO firm.

Mr Davey, 35, of Monmouth who will be working with Bishop Fleming's offices in Bristol, Bath and Worcester. said: "It is a privilege to be joining such a strong corporate finance team within a well respected firm.

"After eight years with NatWest, I am really looking forward to returning to my roots and bringing my expertise in both corporate finance and banking to businesses across three regions".

The firm also has offices in Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay, and Truro.
