LOCAL luxury lingerie boutique Embrace has been nominated for the second year running for a top national award.

The business in Reindeer Court has been shortlisted in the Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards, the only independent recognition of excellence in intimate apparel, swimwear and legwear retailing. All categories are determined by jury nomination and evaluation and therefore businesses cannot nominate themselves.

Embrace, which sells luxury lingerie not easily found on the High Street, as well as being a mastectomy specialist, has been nominated for a special care recognition award for its commitment to personal and caring service.

Lisa Farrington-Martin, co-owner and director of Embrace said: "We are absolutely delighted that as a local business we have been nominated for such a prestigious industry award, which covers the whole of the UK and Ireland. It is lovely to be given the recognition for our really personal service and superb lingerie that you just cannot find elsewhere in Worcester and it really helps to put Worcester on the map."

The awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday, November 12.
