LAST year was a busy one for Kirsten Cluer, owner of HR consultancy firm Cluer HR.

Not only did she take on three more people in her young business, but was also awarded a fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and graduated from the University of Worcester with an MA in HR management.

She said: "“It's been a great journey and I’ve learnt so much along the way. I have plans to grow the business more throughout 2016, this is just the start.”

Miss Cluer set up Cluer HR from her kitchen table in Pershore in 2011. By 2013, she had moved to a small office at the Deer Park Business Centre at nearby Eckington. In 2014 she took on her first employee, meaning she needed slightly larger premises, which were found on Overbury Estate, near Tewkesbury. The team continued to grow and by the start of last year the firm had outgrown its office again. This time moving to a larger office next door.

Miss Cluer added: "Throughout it all I was determined to gain my masters in human resource management and it was a great day when I graduated at Worcester Cathedral. My aim is to guide businesses though the challenges of employment and help them to grow through their people."
