WORCESTERSHIRE provided plenty of fireworks for the end of season party of England's top rugby club Saracens.

But they didn't come from the county's fellow Premiership outfit Worcester Warriors, rather the pyrotechnic experts at Hartlebury events and communications agency drp.

The company was tasked with supplying an attention-grabbing fireworks display for Saracens' Big Bash party, which was part of the club's annual awards night at its Allianz Park headquarters in Mill Hill East in London. The evening celebrated the achievements of the rugby players and awards were presented before fireworks lit the sky in the evening.

drp’s wider company CMD (Corporate Media Displays) is the fireworks arm of the business and Simon Smith, operations director of CMD, choreographed and produced the 25 minute fireworks display to the beat of the Saracens match day songs. The pyrotechnics lasted nearly half an hour and included more than 1200 fireworks.

Mr Smith said: "It was a great privilege to provide the fireworks and pyrotechnics for England’s leading rugby club. The atmosphere at the event was sensational, and the fireworks were a real spectacle in celebration of the awards attained by the players. Feedback from Saracens has been overwhelming.”
