LEADERS estate agents, which has a branch in Foregate Street, Worcester, staged a variety of fundraising events to support Children’s Hospice Week.

Covering raffles, cake sales, quizzes and sponsored challenges, to lucky dips, tea parties, car washes and fancy dress, the effort raised more than £20,000 nationally for the company's charity of the year, Together for Short Lives. This speaks out for all children and young people who are expected to have short lives. Together with the 54 children's hospice services across the UK, the charity provides care and support to these children and their families, helping them have as fulfilling lives as possible and the very best care at the end of life.

Paul Weller, Leaders’ chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have raised such an excellent sum of money during Children’s Hospice Week, and some of our branches still have events and sponsored challenges taking place over the next few weeks. We want to raise as much as we can for this wonderful cause and are very grateful to our customers, business associates and the general public who have so generously supported us; and in particular to the many Leaders landlords who opted to donate one or more days’ rent which boosted our fundraising significantly.”
