AN leading Worcester technology company has reached the finals of an industry awards competition.

PCA Predict, which is headquartered in the Diglis area of the city, has been nominated in the V3 Digital Technology Leaders awards in the best place to work category. The V3 awards recognise the achievements of companies and individuals that are really making a difference at the coalface of the digital technology sector, including developers, data scientists, project managers and user experience professionals.

PCA Predict’s team has been recognised among some high profile brands, including AXA PPP Healthcare, HMRC, Ticketmaster and Expedia.

Chief executive Jamie Turner said: “As the company continues to grow at a pace, the need to cascade timely and critical information is important for our development as a business. For example we have to ensure that our New York office sales team are kept up to speed with the services we are developing for global markets. By using video conferencing we can gather the entire team together and demonstrate technical releases in a virtual environment.

"We are also proud of other initiatives such as Workshop Wednesdays, a weekly lunchtime slot where the developers showcase an innovation to people within the business. For example the sales and marketing teams benefit from having technical product knowledge in a sales pitch or when writing collateral.”

With a strong focus on team collaboration and communication, PCA’s developer team, achieved the award nomination through implementing a series of original internal and external initiatives. The V3 Digital Technology Leaders award ceremony takes place in London on June 23, when the developer team will be hoping to be triumphant.
