IF you look hard enough, most days you can celebrate something and DeepClean Hygiene Solutions, specialists in commercial kitchen cleaning solutions, found World Facilities Management Day as the reason for a charity cake bake.

With a home made selection of muffins, flapjacks, sponges, layer cakes and gateaux, the Bromsgrove company raised £165.17p for local children’s charity New Hope.

Gary Hawkesford, the firm's sales manager, said: “Supporting local causes is really important to us so with World FM Day being a high point in our company’s calendar, celebrating with a charity cake bake seemed a great way to work together. New Hope is a Children’s Charity that works tirelessly for local children, providing invaluable support to them and their families and we’re delighted to donate the proceeds from the sale of our cakes.”

Based in Worcester, New Hope Children's Charity is a non-profit specialist organisation working with families who have children with disabilities and complex health care needs.
