ONE of Worcestershire’s leading IT and technology providers EBC Group has partnered with Worcestershire Law Society to host a special cybersecurity seminar aimed at people working in the legal and professional sector.

With cybercrime a growing threat to organisations in the legal and professional sector, the free seminar aims to give the latest information on complex issues covering key topics including the techniques used to target organisations and advice and guidance on how businesses and individuals can protect themselves.

The seminar, which will be held at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, Wednesday, September 28 from 4pm until 6.30pm, will welcome guest expert speakers including global cyber security experts Kaspersky Lab, the world’s largest privately held anti-malware vendor, providing protection to more than 300 million users worldwide.

Priya Tromans, Worcestershire Law Society president, said: "We are delighted to partner with EBC Group and bring Worcestershire businesses this special seminar. Cybercrime is a hot topic among legal businesses and we hope this seminar will give them the knowledge and know-how on how to secure their business from cyber-attacks and the steps that their employees can take to protect themselves."
