ONE of the UK's leading entrepreneurs is to be the main speaker at a major business event in Worcestershire.

John Carr, partner manager at Facebook, will address Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Autumn Business Expo, which will take place on Thursday, October 6 at the Three Counties showground, Malvern.

Mr Carr is the keynote speaker for the Expo’s networking breakfast, a highlight of the day which regularly attracts 250 people from across the two counties and beyond. He will kick start the event at 9am by speaking on “The Evolution of Communication”. Ben Mannion from overall sponsor Hewett Recruitment will also address guests before officially opening the 125 stand business exhibition at 9.30am.

The Autumn Expo features a programme which includes two free workshops delivered by Facebook: “Driving Growth With Facebook” at 9.30am and “Introduction To Instagram” at 10.30am. The theme for the October Expo is health and wellbeing, and the exhibition will feature an interactive zone where visitors can find out about the importance of health and wellbeing in the workplace.

Johnson Fleming, based in Bromsgrove, are delivering a free seminar on auto enrolment at 9.30am, and visitors can meet associates throughout the day in the Networking Zone. This Expo also offers businesses a unique opportunity to meet the local International Trade team on board the Exporting is GREAT truck, which will be present outside throughout the day.
