A LIVE event technician says he is "looking forward" to a fresh challenge when he begins his new role at creative agency.
Richard Davies, who works for drp, near Droitwich, has been moved from his role as a show technician to become an assistant producer with the firm.
The new role will see him working across a wide range of projects, supporting the producing team while exploring his own ideas.
Mr Davies, who has worked at drp for six years, said: "Within my time at drp, I have been fortunate enough to work as a trusted senior technician on key drp projects across the globe.
"During my time at drp I have built strong relationships with clients, and being able to utilise these relationships is a great start as an assistant producer. I am looking forward to the new challenges my role will bring."
He began his career at drp as a show technician, after graduating in sound engineering and production at Birmingham City University.
