AN Ombersley woman has set up a new business to support people with poor self esteem fulfil their potential.

Angela Mercer has established Positive Mind, Positive Life, which she says is her "business and philosophy".

The mother-of-four was a primary school teacher for 16 years working with vulnerable families, young people and adults both as a professional and a volunteer.

Mrs Mercer said: "In both my personal and professional life I have witnessed the debilitating impact of poor self-esteem and anxiety on individuals, and their loved ones. I have seen desperate families struggling to find solutions and my family was no exception.

"As a parent and teacher who had been passionate about raising children to live happy and balanced lives I found myself as the parent whose child was affected by poor self-esteem which led to severe adolescent depression.

"It is the belief that no family should have to go through the isolation that we went through that inspired me to train in Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT).

"I have always wanted to do something like this, this is my passion so for me this is a dream come true.

"I formed Positive Mind, Positive Life in September 2016. Now I have the tools and training I want to use my experience to help individuals to live the very best version of their lives."

The therapy is based around principles of hypnotherapy and is designed to offer an emotional release.

"I am one of a new breed of practitioners and there are currently only 450 RTT practitioners worldwide.

"I work from home in the heart of Worcestershire, offering a safe, friendly and nurturing environment.

"I am so excited about the future.

"In an ever complex society, we need to nurture ourselves more than ever. When we believe in ourselves, we can truly achieve our potential."
