WORCESTER-based Liaison, which works to save the NHS money in the key area of finance and workforce management, has been shortlisted for awards in five categories.

Liaison, based at Three Springs Trading Estate, has been shortlisted in five categories in the Rewards - the leading independent awards for payroll and HR professionals.

The categories Liaison has been nominated in are best employer, customer service award, payroll and HR, provider of the year, service provider team award and specialist payroll and HR Provider.

Winners of the awards, formerly known as the Payroll World Awards, are to be announced at a ceremony taking place at the Hilton London Bankside, on November 2.

Liaison’s work with the NHS enables trusts and boards to directly engage temporary workers to provide greater transparency, visibility and control and to reduce costs.

Liaison’s commitment to staff development, client satisfaction and promoting best practice was recognised in its shortlistings in addition to its contribution to streamlining the cost to NHS trusts and boards.

Liaison delivered a saving to the NHS of at least £26m from April 2016 to 2017, through improved controls and visibility

Andrew Armitage, managing director of Liaison, said: “To be shortlisted in five categories in such a highly competitive national awards programme highlights the continued strength of our team.

"To be in the running for a number of awards, epitomises our commitment to our employees and the customers that we are working for.

“This year has been particularly challenging with the IR35 rule changes coming into effect in April but we have met this head on, adapting our systems and absorbing this cost while offering help and support to our customers to ensure they remain compliant."
