A YOUNG solicitor has enjoyed a promotion at city-based legal firm Thomas Guise.
Kersha Bennett has accepted a promotion to trainee solicitor.
Ms Bennett is to complete an 18 month training contract working across various departments and will be furthering her career working alongside Nancy Hai in the Chinese Business and Conveyancing department.
Ms Bennett said: “I am extremely pleased to have been offered a training contract with the firm.
"I have really enjoyed my time working as a paralegal amongst a great team and I now look forward to progressing my career even further with Thomas Guise.”
Wayne Thomas, director at the law firm said: “I am delighted that we have been able to offer a second training contract this year.
"Kersha is a valued member of the team and it is a great asset to have her as a trainee solicitor.
"We all wish her luck in this next phase of her career.”
The announcement follows Thohura Bibi, another trainee solicitor at the firm, passing her recent financial and business skills exams.
Thomas Guise Solicitors has grown to become a leading independent regional law firm, with offices in Copenhagen Street in Worcester, Malvern, as well as in Studley and Birmingham.
