A CONSTRUCTION equipment distributor has opened a new depot in Worcestershire.

BTE Plant Sales Limited have opened a new depot this week in Droitwich.

The Spa location was chosen as it has good transport links, as the depo will serve a wide range of customers in the West Midlands, Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire

At the opening of the depot Ben Elliot, BTE’s founder and chairman, also announced record sales of over £56m for the financial year.

Mike Roby, BTE’s sales director, said: “The investment we’ve made in Droitwich shows our commitment to providing an outstanding experience for all our customers, throughout the territory.

“Our goal is to continuously improve customer service and ensure that the products we supply are fully supported throughout their lifetime.”

Founded in 1990 BTE now represents several of the leading construction equipment manufacturers including British built Thwaites site-dumpers, Kubota mini-excavators, Manitou materials handling equipment and Epiroc hydraulic attachments.

The new facility will join BTE’s other existing depots at Leyland, Leeds and BTE’s head office in Markfield Leicestershire.
