DROITWICH residents are being encouraged to get fit for summer by joining an exercise programme from Fortis Living.

Organised by Worcestershire social landlord Fortis Living, there are four sessions, which are open to everyone.

The sessions are yoga, being held on Monday between 6pm and 7 at Chawson Barn, personal training sessions being held on Tuesday between 7.30pm and 8.15pm at Westlands Community Hall, and Clubbercise, also taking place at the hall, between 10am and 11am on Wednesdays.

A session of Zumba takes place on Wednesday nights between 6.30pm and 7.15pm, at Westlands Community Hall.

Caroline Winnall, health and wellbeing co-ordinator at Fortis Living said: “Thanks to the success of the Get Wychavon Active initiative, we are delighted to be able to offer a similar programme to Droitwich residents. As it’s funded by Fortis, the classes – which can be prohibitively expensive for many – are subsidised and only cost £2 per session per person. Designed and delivered by highly qualified instructors, each session will not only be affordable but fun and exciting too."

No booking is required. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottle of water."
