WORCESTERSHIRE-based creative agency Drp has continued its expansion after the purchase of a Buckinghamshire based agency.

The Hartlebury firm has announced the acquisition of HMX Corporate Communication, a move which is designed to extend the reach of the business, and increase the total team count to more than 280.

HMX is a leading video, digital media, and live events business with a strong, professional services and high-tech client base – servicing clients in accounting firms, major consultancies, key law firms and high tech businesses.

The firm's clients include Bosch Siemens Homecare, Perkin Elmer and GE Healthcare.

HMX is known for engaging audiences through compelling video production and innovative animation and will be bringing this to the Drp team.

Tim Horrox, HMX’s managing director, said: “This is an exciting transition for us at HMX and I am hugely excited about where this partnership can take us.

“With the experience and expertise of the team at Drp in digital projects and live events, and their established track record in video, this is a very beneficial move for us all.”

Dale Parmenter, group chief executive of Drp, said: “We are thrilled to have HMX on board as part of the Drp team and we are looking forward to expanding our capacity and extending our capability as a business, helping to support our mission statement of being the company of choice. HMX is an established, creative and distinguished agency which we are very much looking forward to welcoming into our team and bringing their expertise into our business.”

The Drp team is experiencing continual growth with HMX being the second acquisition within a year. In September 2017, the Drp group acquired events agency, Penguins, further contributing to their long term strategic growth and development plans.
