FINDING that dream job is not easy, but your Worcester News is able to offer help and advice on finding a new career.

The Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair, in association with Bright Assessing Ltd, will take place at the Guildhall, Worcester, on Thursday, March 22.

Following on from the success of the previous fair held in September, this established event continues to give local jobseekers the chance to gather information on a variety of local employment opportunities and training and educational courses.

The fair will welcome new exhibitors, as well as hosting returning stands.

Richard Hencher, Worcester News recruitment manager, said: “It is really important and also very positive that we continue to help local people by organising this careers event. The last fair in Sept-ember was a huge success and attracted more than 900 visitors.

“We received lots of positive feedback and success stories from jobseekers and exhibitors alike.”

The sponsor of this year’s event Bright Assessing Ltd, who specialise in training people to become NVQ assessors, are exhibiting again following on from their success at the previous event.

Samantha Thwaites, marketing manager, said: “Bright exhibited at our first careers fair in Worcester in September, which was really successful for us. “We had more than 80 enquiries into our assessing course on the day from people who were looking for a job or a new career, many of whom had experienced rejection after rejection and felt we had provided them with a lifeline.”

Other exhibitors already confirmed for the event include Shaw Healthcare, Orange Grove Fostercare, British Army, Yamazaki Mazak, H1 Healthcare, Open GI, Job Centre Plus, National Apprenticeship Service and the University of Worcester.

There is still time to secure your space at the event.
