New festival programme for Colwall

THE first programme details for this year's inaugural Colwall Festival have been announced.
The festival is the brainchild of Colwall Players founders Steve and Trish Hockett, and is intended as a celebration of everything the community has to offer.
It is taking place around the village from July 10-20, and will incorporate a wide variety of shows, displays, walks and other free and paid-for events.
The festival will begin with a performance of musical play Dream On by Colwall Primary School students, and other highlights include a flower festival in St James Church, performances from the Colwall Singers and Colwall Players, and a competition to find the Pub Quiz Team of the Year.
