A NOMADIC tent from Mongolia will prove an unusual addition to Colwall Library when an acclaimed storyteller, author and performer comes to visit.
Cat Weatherill, author of Bark Belly, Snowbone and Wild Magic, will be telling stories from within the tent, known as a yurt, on Saturday, July 12.
The event is part of a celebration of the National Year of Reading and is intended for all the family.
At 11.15am on the day there will be a special baby bounce and rhyme session in the yurt. They will feature traditional and modern songs and rhymes suitable for babies and children from 0 to three years old.
Cat Weatherill will tell stories in the yurt from 12.30pm until 1.15pm and again from 1.30pm until 2.15pm.
The events are free and all are welcome to attend.
