WYCHE and Colwall Horticultural Society holds its 65th Annual Flower Show tomorrow, Saturday, August 9.
The society, which meets regularly throughout the year, is holding this special anniversary show at Colwall village hall from 2pm until 5pm..
Alongside exhibits of fruit, flowers and vegetables there will be a plant sale, cake stall, raffle, tombola and teas.
The show attracts dozens of entries in a wide range of classes, including sweetpeas, dahlias, roses and clematis. Vegetable classes include potatoes, carrots, shallots, runner beans and marrows and there is also a funniest vegetable class.
The WCHS show also has handicraft classes for tapestry, lace work and quilting, floral art entries, photography and art competitions and a special junior exhibitors section for children.
A cookery section includes classes for cakes, scones, jams and chutneys.
Winning entries will be awarded trophies and medals and the prize giving takes place at 4.15pm. Admission to the flower show costs £1.
