THE Elms School is looking to improve its facilities by building a new junior boarding house, theatre and environmental study centre and an all-weather astroturf pitch at its grounds in Colwall.
The school has submitted a single planning application detailing all three items to Herefordshire Council.
Colwall Parish Council discussed the application on Wednesday (August 6) and is raising no objections to the plan. However it will comment on a potential increase in traffic and lack of parking provision for major functions.
It would also have concerns over the impact on the AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) location if the sports pitch was to be floodlit.
