COLWALL’S Rotary Riders will be in action this weekend at the Mountain Mayhem bike race at Eastnor Park.
The world’s biggest 24 hour mountain bike endurance race will attract some 3,800 riders including Russell Horton, David Torbet and Tony Brook from the Rotary Club.
Mr Brook said: "Last year the weather was dreadful, but the team put in an heroic performance against professionals more than half our age. We raised over £2,500 for charity."
"This year we have some younger legs in the team, but the 10 mile circuits up, down and around the deer park will still be technically and physically challenging."
Colwall Rotary Club is raising funds for St Michael's, St Richard’s and Acorns hospices.
Anyone wishing to support the team can call Mr Brook on 01684 565903.
