TWO local businesses have been recognised in the 2010 RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) Occupational Health and Safety Awards.
Malvern’s QinetiQ and Colwall’s Coca Cola Enterprises Ltd both received gold awards during a ceremony at Birmingham’s Metropole Hotel.
The awards, now in their 54th year, are presented to organisations that have shown a commitment to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees and others.
RoSPA chief executive Tom Mullarkey said: “Our annual awards not only provide just recognition for individual organisations but also encourage the raising of accident and ill health prevention standards across the board.”
